‘Big Tanks’ Night Club
Modulorbeat, a German architectural & urban design studio, built a temporary open air night club called Kubik at a factory ruin of Berlin. The club is made of 120 1000-litre water tanks, filled with luminous bulbs. Each bulb can be controlled individually, so the whole structure turns into an improvising display of light and rhythm, and a stimulating enviroment to the movement of human body. I also like the fact of using ordinary and low-cost material to create something extraodinary and powerful.
