Premini Cellphone

So… at what point does the drive to surpass last year’s designs completely eclipse functional concerns? In the cell phone world I’d say nowish. It reminds me of the SNL skit where Will Ferrell pulls out a tiny cellphone the size of a quarter. I’m not against streamlining products, but it does seem that there’s a mindset in design that assigns value to the most extreme things…
